Personal Profile

My design philosophy is simple. To design experiences that improve one's quality of life.

As a first-generation Haitian American, music, illustration, and story-telling are rotted in my family tradition.

As a Political Science undergrad, I learned about methodologies covering psychology issues, alternative modes of explanation, and the use of research and statistics when making inferences about political process & behavior.

In between classes, I decided to give myself a personal project and designed my first mobile app (a word game!). Shortly after graduating college, I designed a second app which is now my passion project called Unite. After 7+ years working in corporate finance, I made the leap to becoming a designer full-time.

I've always been a product designer at heart because it requires a mix of logic, visuals, science, and technology (all things I love) to help solve problems for people.

My design process:

1. Discover the problem space and devise a thesis

2. Ideate, design, and test thesis

3. Present an iterative, data-informed solution.

I'm a big proponent of consumer psychology and understanding how people think, behave, and interact with products. I believe taking a human-centered approach to design leads to true innovation and promotes a unified connection between companies, products, and people.

Let's work together.
